* Accessible — Accepts 15–50%. Solid chances for solid work.
* Welcoming — Accepts 50%+. The door is wide open.

Payment

* No Pay — Publication credit & proud moms only.
* Token — Up to $9 flat or \~1¢/word. A little something.
* Low — $10–24 flat or \~2–3¢/word. It adds up.
* Standard — $25–49 flat or \~4–5¢/word. Respectable.
* Good — $50–99 flat or \~6–8¢/word. Now we're talking.
* Semi-Pro — $100–199 flat or \~9–15¢/word. Real money.
* Professional — $200–499 flat or \~16–30¢/word. Industry rate.
* Top-tier — $500–999 flat or \~31–60¢/word. The big leagues.

Response Time

* Fast — You'll hear back within a week.
* Quick — Expect a response in 1–4 weeks.
* Standard — Usually 1–3 months. Pretty typical.
* Slow(ish) — 3–6 months. Don't hold your breath (you’ll die).
* Slow — 6+ months. You might forget you submitted.
