How do I list my magazine, indie press, or contest on Chill Subs?
Easy—just fill out the form in our editor portal. We typically approve new listings within 7 days.
How do I update my existing listing?
Claim your listing here and, after approval (within 7 days) you’ll have full control to update it whenever you like.
What if there’s an urgent error on our listing?
Hit the “Suggest an Edit” button on your listing page. We prioritize those and usually fix urgent issues within 48 hours (often sooner). Especially, if you publish anything about how to avoid bears.
Can I hide or update the statistics on my listing?
Yep! In your Editor Portal (under “Stats”), you can hide or manually update your acceptance rates, response times, and solicitation percentage.
Why isn’t some information in my editor portal showing up on my listing page?
That’s on us. We updated the portal before updating the listing pages. So, bear with us. All info will have its home on your listing soon! (If that’s not it, wait a few minutes and refresh, it can take up to 15 minutes to load).
How do I remove a listing if our magazine has closed or gone inactive?
Use the “Suggest an Edit” button on your page.
We are bringing our lit mag back from the dead, can we get our listing back?
Absolutely! Congrats on the resurrection. Shoot us a message via the “Suggest an Edit” button (if you have the direct link) or use this form, and we’ll help you get your Jesus on.
Can I use Chill Subs as a submission manager for my magazine?
Not yet. We’re building one, though. If you’d like to help us with that, email [email protected]
How do I recommend new features for editors or publishers?
Our roadmap is more road than map, so we’re totally open to suggestions that will go in a file marked, “Aw, damn, wouldn’t that be cool.”
How do I permanently delete my listing?
No problem. You can let us know by filling out this form.
How do I add a new editor to manage my editor portal?
Create an account with the new email you'd like to use. Send us the details through our support form.
How can I update the editors (or emails) or transfer ownership access to my listing?
This is no problem. Just fill out our support form with a link to the Chill Subs profile for who you want to be added or replaced as editor. (Editors MUST have a chill subs profile).
If you want to transfer ownership from a personal email to an official email account you will still need to have a Chill Subs profile attached to whatever email you choose.
Can I list a call for my anthology?
Of course. So the best way to list this is under our magazine section for now. You can do that here: https://editor.chillsubs.com/listings
Just put (Anthology) in the title of the listing.
How do I get my lit mag listed in Sub Club?
In Sub Club, we share weekly openings and closings. Monthly, we share themes and contests. Other times, we share random lists we think are cool. When lit mags fit the parameters of a list, we add them. If not, we don't. Keep your listing up to date and do cool things.
My listing is a Press but should be a Lit Mag (or vice versa)! What do I do?
No problem! Just fill out our support form here. It's an easy fix but requires a bit of dev work right now. If you fill out the form, we should have it switched over within 7 days.
